The educational programming originally scheduled for November 4 and 5 has been postponed. We understand its content and intention was misinterpreted by some in this heightened political climate which is unfortunate.

We are also aware of various protests, plans, and threats on social media. While we appreciate open dialogue and discussion, far too many people in our community have been targeted and subject to harassment and discrimination and so we will take every legal measure to protect our community, including the children and families attending our school. We have contacted the police who are actively monitoring the situation and are in regular contact with them.

Our vision and philosophy remain focused on enhancing our faith by addressing our community’s spiritual, religious, and social needs per the teachings of the Holy Qur’an, the Holy Prophet (SAW) and the exalted Ahlulbayt (AS). We provide educational opportunities for our community where teachings align with this vision. We are NOT connected or affiliated with any external government or political movement. We condemn all acts of oppression across the world regardless of race, ethnicity, religion or faith.
